How to delete your Aido account

Delete your account in the app
- Sign in to the Aido app.
- Open the Me tab and tap Delete Account at the bottom of the screen.
- If you signed up with email, enter your password. Tap Delete Account in the confirmation to finish.
Request deletion on the web if you can't use the app
You can request deletion without reinstalling the app, even if you've deleted it or can't sign in.
- Email matthew@redband.co.kr with the subject Aido account deletion request.
- Include the email address you signed up with (for social sign-in, tell us whether it was Kakao, Google, Naver, or Apple and that account's email) and your user tag if you know it.
- Sending from the email you signed up with helps us verify you faster. If you write from another address, we may send one more email to confirm you own the account.
- Once verified, we delete your account within 7 business days and let you know by email.
Cancel your subscription first
Deleting your account doesn't stop Apple or Google subscription billing. To avoid the next charge, cancel before deleting your account.
- iPhone or iPad: Settings > your Apple Account (name) > Subscriptions > Aido
- Android: Google Play app > Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > Aido
What gets deleted and what's kept
- Once you request deletion, your account can no longer be used, and the data below is permanently deleted after a 30-day grace period. If you sign in again with the same account during the grace period, your account is restored.
- Deleted: account information such as email, name (nickname), profile image, and user tag; to-dos, subtasks, memos, comments, and categories; friends, nudges, and cheers; daily completion and weekly achievement records; AI reports; location; notification settings and push tokens; and friend invite and reward records, including remaining reward Premium
- Kept as required by law: records such as payment and order cancellation records (5 years), consumer complaint and dispute records (3 years), and service access logs (3 months) are stored separately for the legally required period and then deleted.
- Kept to prevent abuse: hash values that stop friend invite rewards from being claimed repeatedly aren't linked to your account, can't identify you, and are kept after account deletion.

Delete some data but keep your account
You can delete to-dos, memos, and comments one by one in the app. To delete other data only, email us at the address above and list what you'd like deleted.
