Usage terms, subscription conditions, and user rights for Aido.

Aido Terms of Service

Effective Date: March 13, 2026


Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms of Service govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between RedBand (hereinafter "Company") and users in relation to the use of "Aido" (hereinafter "Service"), an AI-powered social to-do management service provided by the Company.


Article 2 (Definitions)

The definitions of terms used in these Terms are as follows:

  1. "Service": Refers to the Aido application and all associated features provided by the Company.
  2. "Member": Refers to a person who has agreed to these Terms, completed registration, and uses the Service.
  3. "Content": Refers to all information created by Members within the Service, including to-dos, memos, nudge messages, and Cheer messages.
  4. "Paid Service": Refers to features offered by the Company on a paid basis, such as the Pro subscription.
  5. "Social Login": Refers to registration and login through third-party authentication services such as Google, Kakao, Naver, and Apple.
  6. "Subscription": Refers to a paid service agreement that auto-renews on a periodic basis.
  7. "AI Features": Refers to features utilizing artificial intelligence technology, such as automatic to-do parsing, weekly and monthly AI reports, recurring pattern analysis and suggestions.

Article 3 (Posting and Revision of Terms)

  1. The Company shall post these Terms on the initial screen of the Service or a separately linked page.
  2. The Company may revise these Terms within the scope permitted by applicable laws.
  3. When revising the Terms, the Company shall announce the effective date and reason for revision through in-app notices or push notifications.
  4. For changes unfavorable to Members, the Company shall provide at least 30 days' prior notice before the effective date and individually notify Members via email or push notification.
  5. Other changes to the Terms shall be announced at least 7 days before the effective date.
  6. Members who do not agree to the revised Terms may express their objection before the effective date and may terminate their service agreement.
  7. For changes that are not unfavorable to Members, if a Member does not explicitly express objection by the announced effective date, the Member shall be deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.
  8. For changes unfavorable to Members, if a Member does not explicitly express consent by the effective date of the change, the Member shall be deemed to have not agreed. In such cases, either the Company or the Member may terminate the service agreement.

Article 4 (Registration and Eligibility)

  1. Registration is completed when a user agrees to these Terms and the Privacy Policy and completes the registration process as prescribed by the Company.
  2. The Service is available only to users aged 14 or older. Children under 14 are not permitted to register.
  3. Registration may be completed via email/password or social login (Google, Kakao, Naver, Apple).
  4. The Company may refuse registration or subsequently restrict use in the following cases:
  • Registration using another person's information
  • False information provided in the registration form
  • Re-registration attempts by a previously restricted user
  • Violation of applicable laws or these Terms

Article 5 (Account Management and Security)

  1. Members are responsible for keeping their account information accurate and up to date.
  2. Members are responsible for securely managing their login credentials and must not share them with third parties.
  3. Members must immediately notify the Company if they become aware of unauthorized use of their account.
  4. The Company is not responsible for any disadvantages resulting from a Member's negligent account management.
  5. Sale, transfer, or lending of accounts is prohibited, and violations may result in service restriction.

Article 6 (Service Description)

The main features provided by the Company are as follows:

  1. Task Management: Creating, editing, deleting, completing to-dos, setting recurring tasks, and category organization
  2. Calendar and Schedule Management: Schedule management through weekly/monthly calendar views
  3. AI Features: AI-powered automatic to-do parsing, weekly and monthly AI reports (achievement analysis and personalized tips), recurring pattern detection and automatic suggestions, voice input for to-do creation
  4. Social Features: Adding friends (mutual follow-based), sharing to-dos, Nudge, Cheer, Social Digest (weekly summary of friends' activities), and weekly achievement badges
  5. Streaks: Tracking consecutive task completion records and displaying achievement status
  6. Subscription Service: Premium features through the Pro plan
  7. Notification Service: Automatic to-do reminders (1 hour and 10 minutes before scheduled time), morning and evening reminders, streak maintenance reminders, social notifications (friend requests, Nudge, Cheer, social digest, etc.), Nudge encouragement notifications (prompting users to send Nudges to inactive friends), Win-back notifications (encouraging inactive users to return to the Service)
  8. Personalization Settings: App icon customization (premium), dark mode, light mode, and system theme selection
  9. Other features developed or provided through partnerships by the Company

Article 7 (User Obligations)

  1. Members must not engage in the following activities while using the Service:
  • Stealing another person's account or registering false information
  • Interfering with the normal operation of the Service
  • Sharing inappropriate content such as profanity, hate speech, or illegal information
  • Infringing on the intellectual property of the Company or third parties
  • Using the Service in ways that violate laws or public order
  • Using automated programs (bots) or other means to improperly access the Service
  • Any other activities prohibited by applicable laws and these Terms
  1. If a Member violates the above obligations, the Company may restrict service use or terminate the agreement.

Article 8 (Paid Services and Payment)

  1. The Company offers the following plans:

  1. The above prices include VAT. Actual charges may vary due to exchange rates, taxes, or fees depending on the country and store policies.
  2. Payments for Paid Services are processed through in-app purchases on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and charges are billed to the payment method registered with the Member's Apple ID or Google account.
  3. When prices change, the Company shall provide at least 30 days' prior notice through in-app announcements and individual notifications. Members who do not agree may cancel their subscription before the next renewal.
  4. Minors who wish to use Paid Services require consent from a legal guardian, and contracts made without such consent may be canceled by the legal guardian.

Article 9 (Auto-Renewable Subscription)

  1. Pro subscriptions are provided on an auto-renewable basis.
  2. Pro Monthly (KRW 3,900/month) and Pro Annual (KRW 29,900/year) subscriptions will automatically renew at the same price and duration unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.
  3. Renewal charges will be billed to the payment method registered with the Member's Apple ID or Google account within 24 hours before the end of the subscription period.
  4. Subscription management and auto-renewal cancellation can be done through the following paths:
  • iOS: Device Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
  • Android: Google Play app > Menu > Subscriptions
  1. Even after cancellation, Pro features remain available until the end of the already-paid subscription period.

Article 10 (Free Trial)

  1. The Company may offer a free trial period for Paid Services.
  2. If the subscription is not canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the free trial period, it will automatically convert to a paid subscription and charges will apply.
  3. During the free trial period, the subscription may be canceled at any time through the device's App Store or Google Play account settings. Upon cancellation, the Service remains available until the end of the trial period.
  4. The free trial is available only once per account.

Article 11 (Cancellation and Refund)

  1. Members may withdraw from a Paid Service within 7 days of the payment date. However, withdrawal is restricted in the following cases:
  • Digital content for which service use has already commenced, where the restriction on withdrawal was communicated and consented to at the time of payment
  • Cases where service use becomes impossible due to reasons attributable to the Member
  1. Refunds for in-app purchases are subject to the refund policies of the payment platform (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).
  • Apple: Request a refund through Apple Support (reportaproblem.apple.com)
  • Google: Request a refund through Google Play Customer Service
  1. When canceling a subscription, no pro-rated refund is provided for the current paid subscription period. The Service remains available until the end of that period.
  2. If the Service is unavailable due to reasons attributable to the Company, the Company shall provide refunds or compensation in accordance with applicable laws.

Article 12 (AI Features and Disclaimer)

  1. The Service utilizes external AI models such as Google Gemini to provide the following features:
  • Automatic To-Do Parsing: Automatically extracts title, date, category, and other details from text input
  • Weekly & Monthly AI Reports: Provides task completion rates, category-based analysis, day-of-week and time-of-day pattern analysis, and personalized tips
  • Recurring Pattern Suggestions: Analyzes the user's task history and automatically suggests recurring tasks
  1. AI-generated results (parsing results, reports, suggestions, etc.) are for reference only, and their accuracy, completeness, or suitability is not guaranteed.
  2. Members must review AI results before using them for final decision-making.
  3. To provide AI features, certain data such as to-do text and task statistics may be transmitted to external AI services. Details are provided in the Privacy Policy.
  4. The Company is not liable for damages arising from the use of AI-generated results, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.

Article 13 (Social Feature Rules)

  1. Members may use social features including adding friends, sharing to-dos, Nudge, and Cheer.
  2. Social features (sharing to-dos, Nudge, Cheer, etc.) are available only between mutual followers.
  3. Visibility scope is determined by in-app settings, and Members are responsible for managing their own visibility settings.
  4. To maintain a safe community, the Company may delete content or restrict service use for Members who violate operational policies.
  5. Members must not engage in behavior that causes discomfort or harassment to other Members through social features.
  6. Nudge and Cheer are subject to a 24-hour cooldown per recipient, and daily limits may apply based on the subscription plan (see Article 8).

Article 14 (User Content Rights)

  1. Copyright for content (to-dos, memos, etc.) created by Members within the Service belongs to the respective Member.
  2. By using the Service, Members grant the Company a license to use their content to the extent necessary for providing, operating, and improving the Service. This license expires upon Member withdrawal.
  3. The Company does not use Member content for purposes outside the Service or provide it to third parties, except as required by law.

Article 15 (Service Changes and Suspension)

  1. The Company may change all or part of the Service as operationally or technically necessary and shall announce significant changes in advance.
  2. The Company may temporarily suspend all or part of the Service for the following reasons:
  • Regular system maintenance, replacement, or malfunction
  • Force majeure such as natural disasters or national emergencies
  • Other unavoidable circumstances as reasonably determined by the Company
  1. If the Service is permanently discontinued, the Company shall provide at least 30 days' prior notice to Members, and appropriate measures such as refunds shall be taken for Members using Paid Services in accordance with applicable laws.

Article 16 (Termination and Restriction of Use)

  1. Members may request termination (account withdrawal) at any time through in-app settings or customer support.
  2. Upon a withdrawal request, the Company applies a 30-day grace period. If the Member logs in again with the same email within the grace period, the account is automatically restored. After the grace period, personal information and content are permanently deleted.
  3. The Company may restrict use or terminate the agreement after prior notice if a Member:
  • Violates obligations under these Terms
  • Interferes with the normal operation of the Service
  • Violates applicable laws
  1. Upon withdrawal, personal information shall be destroyed without delay, except for information that must be retained under applicable laws and the Privacy Policy.
  2. For Members who withdraw while using a paid subscription, refunds for the already-paid subscription period are subject to Article 11.

Article 17 (Intellectual Property)

  1. Intellectual property rights for the Service's design, logos, software, technology, and all content provided by the Company belong to the Company or their rightful owners.
  2. Members may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from all or part of the Service without the Company's prior written consent.

Article 18 (Liability and Limitation of Liability)

  1. The Company shall compensate Members for damages caused by the Company's willful misconduct or gross negligence in accordance with applicable laws.
  2. The scope of the Company's liability is limited to ordinary and direct damages incurred by the Member. Damages arising from special circumstances are compensable only if the Company knew or could have known about such circumstances.
  3. The Company is not liable for damages arising from the following:
  • Force majeure or other causes beyond the Company's control
  • Service disruptions caused by reasons attributable to the Member
  • Service disruptions caused by third parties (platforms, AI services, etc.)
  • Damages arising from the Member's use of AI feature results without review
  1. The Company's liability for Paid Services is capped at the amount paid by the Member for the Paid Service in the most recent 12-month period. This limitation does not apply in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence by the Company.

Article 19 (Privacy Protection)

Matters concerning the protection of Members' personal information are governed by the separate Privacy Policy, which can be found on the initial screen of the Service or a separately linked page.


Article 20 (Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction)

  1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  2. Lawsuits arising from disputes between the Company and Members shall be filed with the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act as the court of first instance.
  3. In the event of a dispute between the Company and a Member, both parties shall negotiate in good faith to resolve the dispute.

Article 21 (Supplementary Provisions)

Matters not covered by these Terms shall be governed by applicable laws (including the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, and the Personal Information Protection Act) and customary practices.

Addendum

  1. These Terms of Service take effect on March 13, 2026.
  2. The previous Terms of Service (effective March 10, 2026) shall cease to have effect upon the implementation of these Terms.
